Rachael McCarthy

Rachael McCarthy joined the Murphy Legal team in 2022, bringing 17 years of legal experience to the firm. A native of Bryan, Texas, Rachael started her career as a police officer with the Bryan Police Department in 2003. Her pragmatic, direct, and confident approach are traits honed on patrol, but they are key in managing cases for clients and delivering results. Since becoming a paralegal in 2010, Rachael has focused primarily on construction, business, and commercial litigation, with some experience in criminal defense.

Personal

When not working for clients at Murphy Legal, Rachael enjoys spending time outdoors shooting, fishing, and hiking, with her two boys (Wyatt and Weston), and two dogs (Phoebe and Boss). Colorado is her favorite playground for all things outdoors! She loves to workout and somehow also manages to listen to about 400 audiobooks per year!
